PICNIC & SWAP MEET, AUGUST 24, 2002
                    & SNAPS OF LAST FALL'S PICNIC
Hello BAM members both real and potential,

The annual BAM picnic/swap meet will be held at my house on Saturday, August 24th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Here's how it works: bring any and all minerals you are willing to part with. You may donate specimens to a silent auction (proceeds benefit BAM) or simply bring specimens and arrange individual trades with others. Barbecue lunch and soft drinks will be provided by BAM.

If you are thinking about joining a bunch of rock heads (it is a little known fact that "mineralogists" is Latin for "rock heads"), this is a good way to get to know us. Just be sure to RSVP so we know you are coming.

In order for me to purchase the right amount of food and beverages, please RSVP with number of people attending by Saturday, August 17th at the latest. Directions to my house are as follows:
